What is the minimum time per cleaner visit?
The minimum amount of time a cleaner can visit is two hours. This minimum ensures the customers get the best out of each visit and is economical for our cleaners. During that time, our cleaners are happy to undertake all appropriate cleaning services you may require.
How does Every Cleaning allocate a cleaner to customers?
We usually aim to provide customers with available cleaners in their area that come highly recommended. In addition to cleaners' vetting, we constantly ask for customers' feedback to enable quality decision-making.
How do we vet our cleaners?
We are selective of the cleaners we recruit. We generally aim to recruit cleaners with significant cleaning experience and not less than six months' experience. Cleaners are carefully vetted, and background checks are conducted. Cleaners are required to provide references from previous cleaning work to ascertain their experience, suitability, and reliability. During interviews, we assess other areas, including attitude, professionalism, punctuality, and English language requirements.
Can I request a change of cleaner?
We want to ensure you are always satisfied with our services, so contact us if you wish to change your cleaner at any point. We aim to provide a replacement cleaner as quickly as possible.
Can the cleaner access the house while the client is out?
While staying home while cleaners are doing their work may be desirable, some customers prefer to be out. There are certainly benefits to both circumstances; waiting for means that the client can build a rapport with the customer while pointing out areas of utmost cleaning priorities. Staying out means clients can go about their other duties and return to a clean home. Therefore, we usually go with whatever our clients prefer. Where they prefer to stay away while cleaning is ongoing, they will usually provide the cleaners with keys or access to the property before leaving.
Who provides the cleaning products?
For domestic and regular cleaning services, we ask that customers provide the cleaning equipment and products for your cleaner. If the customer requests, we can provide equipment for a one-off clean at a charge. Customers generally prefer using certain products in their homes for health and safety reasons. Moreover, minimising the use of equipment in multiple properties is an excellent way to prevent cross-contamination.

What tasks are included, and which are not?
When you contact us, we usually ask about your requirements and will tell you what services our cleaners can offer. We appreciate that properties vary, so our cleaners assess and tell you what tasks can be achieved within the specified time. This will enable you to decide and prioritise tasks for the cleaner. For professional cleaning, we ask you to book through our specialist services
How do I make payment?
We accept payment by cash, debit, or bank transfer, whichever is convenient. Payment could be made in advance after booking or upfront at the cleaning time.
How much does Every Cleaning charge per hour?
Our charges start at £20 per hour for just one-off domestic and 2 hours bookings. However, this rate decreases depending on booked hours and the regularity of services required by the client. Please check our pricing page.
Is carpet and outside window wash included?
Domestic cleaners do not carry a carpet cleaning machine; however, if you need carpet cleaning service, then please contact our professional cleaning department for help.
Can customers’ clothes be hand-washed by a cleaner?
Due to health and safety reasons, we do not provide this service. Domestic cleaners can only offer laundry services if clients have a washing machine.
Any replacement when a cleaner is ill or unavailable?
Yes, and we will inform you when a cleaner is ill, on holiday, or unavailable due to other circumstances and provide another cleaner
Do I inform you when going on holiday?
We would appreciate you letting us know 48 hours in advance.
Is there a contract to be agreed
Unless you expressly request it, there is no contract. You can leave us anytime and end your recurring cleaning by giving us seven days' notice.
Can the client always have the same cleaner?
The client can have the same cleaner if the cleaner is available and there is a consistent schedule. We will inform you if the cleaner is unavailable, for example, due to illness or is no longer in our service

What is end-of-tenancy cleaning?
Before moving out of a rented property, tenants must have the property professionally cleaned, enabling tenants to get their deposit back. This cleaning includes wiping down all lights, light fittings, and light switches; Cleaning the insides of windows; Wiping the window frames; Carefully lifting any ornaments or furniture to clean under them. This will enable you to get your deposit back from the deposit protection scheme.
How long does end-of-tenancy cleaning take?
It depends on the condition and size of the property. It may take 4 hours or even the whole day. Most clients requiring light cleaning will spend around three 3 with our cleaners working in each room with hoovers, cloths and all the right cleaning products to get the job done to a professional standard. Even if it takes a long, we aim to get all jobs done within a day.
Are outside windows included in the service?
With a standard end-of-tenancy cleaning price or service, only windows from inside are cleaned, so if you need windows to be cleaned from the outside as well, then you need to request this additional service; so yes, we do clean outside windows, but on request.
Is oven cleaning included in the service?
Oven deep cleaning is provided with standard end-of-tenancy cleaning where the customer request kitchen cleaning to be included.
Do you require a deposit before service?
We don’t require a deposit to book our services but accept a deposit or full payment if the customer prefers.
Does a customer incur a cancellation fee?
There are no cancellation fees if the customers give us a 24-hour notice. However, a customer will be required to pay a 40% cancellation fee if cancelling within 24 hours.
Is carpet cleaning included?
We provide carpet cleaning services and can be included if the customer selects it as an option. Both carpet cleaning and hovering options with different prices are available, and customers can choose whichever they want. A professional carpet cleaner does the deep carpet cleaning.
Does the customer get a receipt after cleaning?
Yes, a customer will get a receipt upon payment and completion of the job. They will receive an automated email with the receipt attached.
What happens if there is the damage?
We are insured to cover any damages caused by our cleaners.
Am I required to be present for the cleaning job?
Although you're welcome to be there while the cleaning job is done, we don't need you to do so. However, our cleaners will need access, and you will need to provide keys or let them in before leaving.
How can I book a service?
We recommend you book online by completing the appropriate booking/request form, as this is the quickest way. You can request a quote by completing the online form. Any contract required?
No. We do not require a contract. You must inform us within at least 24 hours to cancel an appointment. Cancellation in less than 24 hours will incur a 50% cost.
